If you’re a professional business owner, like me, you’re always looking for ways to grow your business. Today, I’m going to share the last 10 things I bought to help me grow my branding and portrait photography business. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been in business for a while, these tips will help you take your business to the next level. So, let’s get started!
These are the last 10 things I bought for my business (in no particular order)
- A rolling desk. This has been such a game-changer in an evolving studio space.
- Earbuds. These help to block out distractions and focus on returning all my client leads.
- Subscriptions to Pandora and Spotify. Commercial-free music in the studio is my jam!
- An adjustable laptop stand. This helps to avoid back pain from constantly looking down at a screen.
- A new custom-painted canvas. You can never have too many!
- Bluetooth speakers. I love music while we shoot!
- Downy wrinkle release spray. This saves so much time helping clients prep!
- Two new Canon R5 mirrorless cameras and lenses. They take shooting to a whole new level.
- A new Photek softlighter. It helps expand my set ups and make shooting easier.
- New dresses. I love adding to the studio wardrobe.
Some of these items on my list may not seem crucial to my business, and that may be true. Some are definitely more important than others. The point is, we all have to make our work life as easy and comfortable as possible for ourselves. Most of us spend a good part of our day and week at work. So why not create an environment that encourages productivity and brings us joy.
